In order to download the correct driver for your computer, we need to know which operating system you use.

Download Drivers

1. Please note You will need to be on the UofG Campus network or use VPN to complete the installation
2. Download the print driver using the button above; save the file in your Downloads folder
3. Next, go to your downloads folder and extract all the files from the .zip file (Right-click the file WindowsPrinterDrivers.zip and select Extract all).
4. This will make another folder inside your Downloads folder (unless you have chosen another location).
5. You will need to return to this folder later to install the print drivers.
6. Navigate to https://byodprinting.gla.ac.uk with your GUID and Password
7. Select Driver Print
8. Select your operating system
9. Select Advanced and then click Continue
10. Select Windows Safecom Mobile Print and follow the instructions to finish the installation

2. Click Download MacOS Drivers and then click Allow if prompted to download the drivers.
3. Go to the Downloads folder via Finder.
4. Double click to extract the MacOSPrinterDrivers.zip
5. Double click the file iR-ADV C5840_5850 1.dmg. This will then appear in Finder under Locations and on your desktop.
6. Navigate to https://byodprinting.gla.ac.uk with your GUID and Password
7. Select Driver Print
8. Select your operating system
9. Select Advanced and then click Continue
10. Select Mac Safecom Mobile Print and follow the instructions to finish the installation
11. Users of UofG managed 'MyMac' devices: You will need to run the 'privileges app' on your MyMac before installing byodprinting, using the padlock icon in your dock or menu bar.
